Tips for Maintaining and Using Stainless Steel Kitchenware

Stainless steel kitchenware is a common tool in our kitchen, they have the advantages of durability and easy to clean. However, stainless steel kitchenware may also have some problems if not properly used and maintained.

First of all, when using stainless steel kitchenware, avoid holding seasonings such as salt, soy sauce, vinegar, etc. for a long time, because the electrolytes in these seasonings will cause electrochemical corrosion of stainless steel, which will damage the kitchenware.

Secondly, when cleaning stainless steel kitchenware, use soft rags and neutral detergents, avoid using hard brushes and strong acid and alkali detergents, so as not to scratch the surface of the kitchenware or damage its material.

In addition, stainless steel kitchenware after heating, do not immediately rinse with cold water, so as not to cause deformation of the kitchenware due to sudden changes in temperature. It is also important to avoid placing hot pans directly on cold countertops, and it is best to use an insulating pad.

If stains or water stains appear on the surface of stainless steel cookware, you can wipe it with white vinegar or lemon juice, and then rinse it off with water, which will keep the cookware shiny.

Finally, pay attention to the storage of stainless steel kitchenware, avoid putting it together with sharp objects to avoid scratching the surface. At the same time, keep your kitchen dry to avoid stainless steel kitchenware rusting from moisture.
